Lotus Network is delighted to announce its partnership with Pacific Leisure Group (PLG) after having finalised plans to join forces at WTM 2010. The two organisations will work together with immediate effect.

Lotus is a Network of boutique independent travel PR and representation companies with a focus on the European and Russian markets. The list of high profile clients is long and includes the South African, Australian, Canadian and Spanish Tourist Boards.

Lotus Network was formed in 2005 and has established itself as a leading force throughout Europe. The cooperation with a network on the Asian continent is the next logical step to secure market share and growth in the fast expanding markets in Asia.

The Pacific Leisure Group, headed by Alwin Zecha who is one of the most experienced and established personalities in the global travel industry, is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2011 involving its 20 offices in the festivities. As one of the most experienced organisations in the Asian tourism sector, PLG is strongly integrated in its local markets and beyond in North America, the Gulf region and Australia/New Zealand.

Together with PLG, the Lotus Network will further strengthen relationships with travel companies in all their markets as well as exploring new opportunities further afield. New strategic relations are currently being investigated in the Americas and Africa.

Lotus Network Chairman Susan Van Egmond states: "increasingly our high profile clients are looking for synergies across multiple markets. As our businesses grow, despite these tough times, we are always looking for great partners to develop mutual success in new markets. It is a privilege to partner with Alwin and his partners within PLG, we are all really looking forward to an exciting and effective partnership".
